It's crunch time!!!!! This weekend will be spent (partially) in San Simeon running lines a taking a break from Fresno. The rest will be spent putting the finishing touches on the props and locations. I also have to write the actual shooting script. Which to me means that I'll be taking the script and adding in camera angles, etc. |
I'm going to have to clean out the shed and test the lighting angles so we don't get a shadow of the camera man. I've got to figure out what kind of plastic I can use to catch the blood effects without making so much noise when it's stepped on that it ruins the sound (HaHa!!)
I am seriously excited about all of this!!! Anyone out there who has shot their first film or is getting ready to knows what I mean. Peronally I can't wait to get to it!!!
Anyone out there with any experiences shooting their films (or working on the films of others) feel free to share your experiences. I'd love to hear about them.
Here's to believing that Friday the 21st will be the first of many times I get to look at my cast and crew (aka my friends!!!!) and say "Ok people....that's a wrap!!!!!"
